Most likely constructed around during the time of WWI and WWII, the spitfire plane was created using war debris. Using bullet casings and other materials found in war, service men (most likely plane mechanics) would produce trench art. This style of folk art was created to pass the time when not fighting on the front line. Made from aluminum.
