The inspiration for these earrings came from the indigenous peoples early form of transportation - the canoe. Their canoes were usually made with birch bark over a wooden frame. Many times they were around 14 feet long and weighed around 50 lbs. The canoes could carry alot of cargo even in shallow water. These earrings are made from solid brass that is electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver finish. Ear wires are hypo-allergenic. A gift box and provenance card are included. Made and designed in the USA.
