In Japan, Dragonflies are a symbol of renewal, bravery, power and joy. This is a contrast to what Europe and America thought of them, which were that they were a fearsome insect. However, when Japanese prints were created of the dragonfly, that thought changed. Louis C. Tiffany started to depict these delicate insects in the most beautiful way. These blue and green drop style earrings are solid brass that is electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver. Ear wires are hypo allergenic. Includes a black premium gift box. Made in the USA.
