Expandable Vase - Louis C. Tiffany Poppies

Known as a leader of the Art Nouveau and Aesthetic movements, Louis C. Tiffany (1848-1943) and his designers used his trademark favrile glass nature-inspired themes for extraordinary windows, mosaics, art glass décor, and most notably, lamps. The inspiration for the expandable vase is from scarlet blooms that play across the surface of the Poppy Shade. Designed by Clara Driscoll, Tiffany’s innovative manager of the Women’s Glass Cutting Department (the Tiffany Girls), it features her ingenious idea of incorporating a brass filigree overlay, giving intricate detail to the piece.

Materials: BPA free plastic vase. Care: Rinse with water and dish soap. Leave open to dry, store flat.
