Friendship Ornament 6"

The Tree of Friendship Orb is a handblown glass ornament with colored pieces of glass called frit. This one-of-a-kind glass piece features a colorful trunk that magically sprouts from the bottom of the orb and branches out to colorful canopy of glass leaves, the pieces in this collection will spark feelings of wonder and awe in all who experience their glory. It is part of the Kitras Tree of Enchantment collection. This collection has a specific meaning and story behind each of their decorative ornaments depending on the colors used. The colors used in this ornament are pink, purple, orange, light blue, light green and yellow. 

The story or inspiration for the Tree of Friendship ornament is that “Like each leaf on a tree, our life is blessed with friends who help to define us as the individuals we are. Similarly, the changes of season that a tree undergoes are like the circle of friends we've met throughout our lives - from our school day chums to more mature relationships. The Tree of Friendship reminds us to cherish each of our friends, the old and the new - and ensure that these important bonds are never broken or forgotten.” 

This colorful ornament was created by a team of highly skilled glassblowers who make each of these by hand, so small variances in size and color can occur.
