Inspired by the American flag that was created by Betsy Ross in 1777. Congress passed a resolution that would unite all thirteen colonies under one standard. However, the flag that is used today was designed by Robert G. Heft. Heft was a high school student who took a flag that had 48 stars and added two additional stars for Alaska and Hawaii. President Eisenhower officially accepted this flag in 1960.
Materials: BPA free plastic. Includes: set of 4 luminaries, 4 LED candles and 4 lithium batteries per package. Luminaries arrive flat and expand with water. Care : Rinse with water and dish soap. Leave open to dry, store flat.
