Seagrass Love Bird

Inspired by the blue and green colors of the changing shore of the sea and ocean that encircles the island of Ireland, this small bird is the perfect gift. The pocket-sized love bird was created in Waterford, Ireland at the Irish Handmade Glass studio. This little bird features a mixture of clear and sea blue and green glass. Mouth blown and hand cut, the glass bird is the result of master glass artists who have an extensive history of glass blowing. After the announcement of the Waterford Crystal factory was closing in 2009, craftsmen were determined to not let their talents be lost. As a result, in 2010 Irish Handmade Glass was born. Each vase is a handmade work of art and slight variations in color, size and shape may occur.
